DACA
Barten Law, P.C. routinely files deferred action cases, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), for immigrants who arrive to the United States prior to age 16 and were under age 31 on June 15, 2012, have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007 to present time, and are either in school or have graduated. We assist you in the preparation of your application and supporting documentation from start-to-finish. Whether you are applying for DACA for the first time or are ready to renew your grant of deferred action, Barten Law, P.C. is there to ensure that the process is smooth and your application is primed for success.
On June 18, 2020 the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration’s attempt to end DACA was unlawful. This ruling ensures that DACA recipients will be able to continue living and working in the United States without the fear of being deported. While this ruling does not completely prevent future attempts at ending the program, it ensures that the program will endure for now. At Barten Law, P.C., we have helped numerous individuals apply for DACA, and we realize the importance and value of the program.
